Q: What is the minimum age for creating an account with RecruitTools?
A: Because club coaches utilize this site to help fill their team rosters, RecruitTools has set the minimum age requirement at 10 years of age.
Please note: In an effort to keep children safe on the Internet, RecruitTools follows the guidelines set forth in
COPPA. Therefore, all athletes 13 years of age and younger
must have permission from their parents prior to completing their registration for membership with RecruitTools. View

Q: How do I become a Featured Athlete on your site?
A: Everyone that has a RecruitTools account is eligible to be a featured athlete. Our system will randomly display athletes in this section.
Q: How do coaches know that I added my account?
A: Every time a coach logs into their account they receive a list of athletes that have registered since their last visit. A coach will also be notified if you have listed their program as one of your top 10 schools of interest.
Q: Can I view other Athletes on the site?
A: Yes, but unless you are a logged on as a coach, you cannot see all of their information. We want to protect the privacy of our members.
Q: Is there is a discount if I register for multiple years?
A: Yes. We have developed several packages to make it extremely affordable for you to use. A one-year membership package is $149; a two-year membership package is $249; and a three-year membership package is $319.
Q: What types of payments do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards.
Q: What if I no longer want my account, can I get reimbursed?
A: You can only be reimbursed if you have purchased a multi-year contract. The first year is final, but you can be reimbursed for the remaining years on the contract. Cancellation must be made by email. Email
customersupport@recruittools.com and state that you want to cancel your account.

Q: How detailed can my search be?
A: Our system is designed to allow you to search by Sport(s), Position or Event, GPA/SAT/ACT, Height/Weight Range, Graduation Year or Birthday, State, Name.
Q: How does the Athlete Tracker work?
A: When you find an athlete that peaks your interest, add them to your tracking list. RecruitTools keeps their information one click away and will notify you of changes to their profile. Track as many athletes as you like.
Q: How do your auto-notifications work?
A: A good example is when you track an athlete. You may recognize a student athlete that has potential but is not yet eligible to be contacted. Once that athlete reaches the stage that they are now eligible, the system will automatically notify you.
Q: How do I communicate with Athletes that are eligible?
A: Our system allows for messaging within the system. This keeps emails for the coaches and for the athletes from being displayed publicly. Again, we want to protect the security of all of our members.
Q: How does the “Follow Me” account work?
A: We understand that coaches move from universities and clubs. Your account moves with you. Simply log into your account and update your current club or university. This allows the system to notify you when a student has selected you as a school of interest.
Q: I noticed that you have videos on the site by coaches to help Student Athletes and Parents. What is required for me to do a video?
A: We encourage all coaches to take an active part in creating these videos. Remember, our main objective is to give every student athlete the opportunity to play at the next level. If you want more information contact

Q: Can I be a university coach and a club coach?
A: Yes. Because of collegiate assocation rules and regulations, you will need to create two separate accounts. The reason for this is, the contact process is different for each type of coach. Our system will recognize when you are logged on as a club coach or university coach and deliver information to you accordingly.
